Academic Advising & Mentoring Session
Ghanaian underserved college students not only need tuition, housing scholarships, and a laptop, but they are also in need of academic advising and mentorship such as course selection, guidance on the career path, how to learn, balancing education and social life, and most importantly, how to transition from home to college life.
Each year, the Foundation Co-Founders, some Board members, and other professionals engage with the scholarship recipients for academic advising and mentoring sessions.
“It is on us to make sure they are successful because our model is for them togive back once they have made it.”---Prof. Joseph E. Quansah, Co-Founder and Co-President
